From routinely burning branches and limbs as a landscaper in the late 80's, I was given the opportunity to turn these types of materials into furniture, and the freedom to do so as I saw fit. After much trial, effort and error, I zeroed in on the basic principles I have continued to refine and use today. As this material is not 'standardized' in any way, it has necessitated the invention of multiple tools and techniques, which has somewhat satisfied the 'mad scientist' within.
